SOUTH SHORE SHAKEDOWN Who Makes the Best Cocktail?

Long Island’s very first South Shore Shakedown, a competition featuring eight prominent South Shore bars/restaurants, will be held on Thursday, February 1st at T.J. Finley’s in Bay Shore, NY from 7-10pm.  The event will raise funds for Gavin’s Got Heart, a local 501c3 charity with a mission to educate people about congenital heart defect (CHD) while offering support to families with children affected by CHD.   Tickets ($20) are on sale now at  Tickets are limited.  This is a 21+ event.

Every year I am part of a large 50+ group who does a Mets tailgate bright and early in the MTA lot and this year will be no different with the exception of one thing. Thanks to a suggestion from 2 good friends, we will be doing a #ShaveTheStache Charity event at 12 noon. They will be shaving my mustache for St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
