Life should be enjoyed. But there are so many people out there who are depressed, anxious, stressed out, and really not living their best life for various reasons. The good news is that this can be changed. Embrace Minimalism

This is something I am really trying to focus on in 2023. If you want to get more enjoyment and be more present, then you need to find a way of living that helps you break free of the ties that prevent you from doing this. Embracing a minimalist mindset is a way of achieving this. Minimalism is a philosophy that helps you live more freely. It helps you reduce your life down to the things that still hold value. You are decluttering your life of all the junk. To start being with your physical living spaces. Declutter and remove everything that has no relevance to your life now. Some of these things may be extremely difficult to part with. But all these reminders of a time long gone are not helping you live in the present. In fact, they are probably depressing you. Once you have reduced this down, begin with your social life and your habits. Remove all the toxic things in your life. Break free of all these attachments and find more time to focus on what’s important.  

Exercise

By focusing on your body and getting fit, you are going to enjoy life more. Exercise is far more important to us than the simple and blatantly obvious. Exercise is a way of helping the brain create more of positive feeling chemicals like serotonin, which is associated with happiness, and dopamine, which is associated with your sense of reward. Exercise is a way to reduce the amount of cortisol – the stress hormone in your body. It can help you think more clearly. Exercise also makes you look better, which can clearly affect your mind making you more confident. More confidence can affect your life in many ways and even help you achieve your career goals. So, this really is a no-brainer for anyone.   

Do the Things You Love

So many people never make time for the things they love. Perhaps they feel it is too expensive; perhaps it is not exactly the healthiest thing. However, if you are always denying yourself the things you love, then you are not going to enjoy life as much. If your desire is something unhealthy, like a certain takeaway, limit it to one a week. If you do this, you will find that you’ll love it more and look forest to it more too. Maybe your loves are more innocent, and you love the Redskins. So read as much as you can about them, like Stephen Troese Jr blog, or go to a game every so often. There are many ways to enjoy your vices without them becoming a problem.
