Barbie dolls offer an example of that, with the dolls from the 50s and 60s, when Barbie dolls were first launched, reachined astronomical prices at auction. And as with most things on this list, condition dictates value.

Pokemon Trading Cards

Right now, Pokemon trading cards are very much in demand, especially cards that have been professionally graded and rank at a mint or near mint condition. The higher the grade, the more valuable the cards. And the most valuable and in demand Pokemon cards today are the base set from the 90s published by Wizards of the Coast, in particular the first editions. But other sets are growing in demand too right now.

The world of collectibles, toys and games now has so many vintage and valuable items that it has to be taken seriously. It’s not just fanboys and nostalgics who are interested in these things anymore; it’s investors and people who are serious about making long-term financial gains.
