Lifestyle Reasons To Avoid Apple Products

As I know I will get grief for this post, let me preface by saying, I use an iPhone and use Windows based laptops/computers. I have been using an iPhone for many years and certainly see it's shortfalls. Working with Verizon over the years, I have tested out my share of iPhone and Android phones. That said, the reason I keep with it is as many family and friends are on iPhone and it makes my life easier that way. I do like certain features of Apple products but also see where improvements can also be made.

Avoid Apple products? Are you mad? It looks that way when you take the statement out of context. After all, Apple is one of the biggest and most successful companies ever, with a loyal base. Therefore, it doesn’t make any sense to opt for lesser hardware and software, not when you can have the best.

Avoid Apple products? Are you mad? It looks that way when you take the statement out of context. After all, Apple is one of the biggest and most successful companies ever, with a loyal base. Therefore, it doesn’t make any sense to opt for lesser hardware and software, not when you can have the best.

Of course, this implies that Apple phones, tablets, and laptops are superior in every department. In reality, they aren’t. In fact, Apple devices aren’t great in the lifestyle department, which is pretty important, and these are the reasons why.

You Can Do Everything With Android Or PC

Yes. it’s true – you can do almost everything on an Android device or Personal computer that you can do on an Apple one. Making music is a prime example since the apps and programs can appear exclusive. However, if you know how to run Garageband on PC, you can use the software without forking out a couple of hundred dollars for the latest handset or Mac. Considering how much easier it is to create music and launch a career in an otherwise exclusive industry, it’s a feature you should consider if you enjoy strumming a guitar or cooking up beats.

Games Come Late

A Mac is an ideal tool if you are a designer or someone who wants to run a fluid business. When it comes to gaming, it’s right at the bottom of the list. Why? There are several reasons, including the fact that Apple products aren’t made for playing games, mobile or otherwise. As a result, the newest titles barely find their way to Mac users, and when they do, they are disappointing. The arrival of Steam has made things better, yet it’s not enough if you’re a committed gamer who regularly loves to play in a virtual world.

You’ll Pay Through The Nose For The Privilege

Nobody can claim that Apple makes bad products because it doesn’t. But, it’s the fact that the quality is high which comes back to bite you. An iPhone X was priced at $1,000 when it was first released to the public, which is an eye-watering amount of money. Sure, there are finance options, yet they only encourage you to pay more in the long-term due to the interest rates. In truth, most average people can’t afford Apple handsets, but they buy them anyway as they want to keep up with the Joneses.

There Are Problems

What makes the price of Apple devices worse is the fact that they aren’t infallible. In reality, they can suffer from a host of issues that impact the user experience. Okay, a quick reboot might be enough to fix a bug, yet it could be worse; for example, there could be connectivity problems. It’s essential to understand the pros and cons beforehand because lots of people assume there are none of the former, and they are surprised when the product doesn’t work perfectly. Do you want the stress?

Your decision will be a personal choice, but it’s smart to consider your options before signing on the dotted line.
