Fugoo, a speaker company I introduced you guy (and girls) to back in early 2015 is back with an update to their original rugged Bluetooth speaker that is built to play through your outdoor adventures and extreme conditions. The 2.0 comes with some new improvements I am sure you would love. We sure did.
FUGOO 2.0 speakers brings everything that people loved about our originals & more. It brings more decibels, less weight, better audio quality, new pairing capabilities, enhanced customer support –– it’s all built in. So now, no matter how big the adventure, FUGOO 2.0 is the speaker you can trust to bring the noise with you.
If you were worried that the look would totally change, fear not as the new FUGOO Tough still has its fiber-reinforced resin and solid aluminum body. A very masculine looking shell protects your speaker from whatever your world throws at it with it being lighter than its predecessor. The 2.0 is 5 oz lighter making it even easier to take with you no matter how much you are carrying.
A great feature across the entire FUGOO family of speakers is the availability to answer calls, change your song selection or ask even ask Siri or Google Now a question with hands-free mode. The built-in speakerphone functionality provides extra versatility as apposed to just your run of the mill speaker. The FUGOO speaker is your personal assistant.
When it comes to the durability, I can’t emphasize it enough. The water-proof, sand-proof, shock-proof, life-proof/durable design of the FUGOO Tough truly sets this speaker apart from the others. After all, what’s the point of a battery-powered portable speaker if you can’t take it places without worrying about damaging it? The FUGOO looks tough enough to survive getting drop-kicked by the WWE. FUGOO also makes 2 other models that are more for style and a little less for durability. See the image below to see how they match up.

Pros:
• Lighter design 5oz. less than the original
• Waterproof compartment for the charging port and audio port
• Easy to pair with a second FUGOO speaker
• Price has been lowered from the price of V.1
• Louder than the original
Cons:
• Slightly less high tones due to a change in the internal speakers
• 12 hours of listening per charge over the 40 hours in the original. That said the reduced battery life was a trade off for the lighter weight and reduced cost.
