The mojito originated in Cuba as a farmers’ drink in the late 19th century as Cuba’s rum industry modernized, making the mojito as common as beer. Only the rich drank it with ice and soda. This version is straightforward and simply perfect for a hot day. You are sure to enjoy this. We sure do!
Ingredients:
6 large fresh mint leaves
2 tsp extra fine sugar
2 fresh squeezed limes (with equal parts water)
1 oz. club soda

- Fill the glass with ice and add 1 oz. club soda and 3 oz. Bacardi Superior Rum.
