Everything You’ll Need On Your Travels

travel, travels, vacation, packing, duffel bag, map, travel bag, transportation, road trip, GPS

Let’s face it, us guys don’t like the idea of having to pack all these cases and go shopping for all the essentials we’ll need on vacation, and yet, if you haven’t got a woman to do it for you – you’re going to have to man up a little and sort it out for yourself.

Believe it or not, it really doesn’t have to be as complicated as you may think. Sure, women like to make all the lists and plans that get crossed off closer and closer to the occasion, but you can save so much time and effort just by focusing on the basics. Of course, it all depends on how long you plan on going away for, but if it’s something like a week away, then you’re really not going to need an awful lot.

So if you’re a little bit stuck on where you need to start – here are some of the basics that’ll sort you out.

The transport

Where are you going and how are you going to get there? Obviously, the destination will determine how you’re going to get there, but this is something you seriously need to think about. Are you going to fly, go by boat, or drive yourself and have a road trip? The options are all there, you just need to think about what it is you want to do. And hey – who says you can’t do all of the above and more? The possibilities are endless, dude.

The bag

Everyone knows you’re going to need a bag to keep all of your things safe, but with how far we’ve come in the world, things have gotten a lot more complex as they used to be, which saves us an awful lot of help. Take the faraday bag, for example, this is not only extremely durable made with all high-quality materials, but you don’t need to underestimate the size either, as it can carry an awful lot inside, while ensuring they’re safe and tucked away in all the right compartments. And that’s not all, you can grab yourself a waterproof bag that’s so good at its job, you can trust it with your laptop.

A map

It’s always a good idea to know exactly where you’re going, so always make sure that you have a map or GPS system to get you to where you need to be. Of course, part of travelling is within the adventure, so don’t think that just because you have a map you have to follow it – where’s the spontaneity in that?! – It’s merely a backup plan just in case anything goes wrong and you find yourself stranded somewhere on the off-beaten track with absolutely no civilization. While it may make a brilliant story if you get home safe – it’s maybe not worth the risk.
