Could Golf Be The Sport For You?
Posted by Ray Gruenfelder
When we think of sport, we generally think of activities filled with extensive physical exertion. We think of contact sports, team sports, and a whole lot of aerobic exercise. But if you want to dabble in a sport that is a little easier on your joints while still providing you with a work out of sorts, golf may well be the option for you.
It is generally recommended that everyone should complete 10,000 steps on a daily basis. Completing an eighteen hole round of golf will ensure that you definitely reach this target and that you are also likely to exceed it. Swinging the club can also get your heart pumping. What’s more? Golf has been found to be beneficial for your mental health too, as it can help to reduce stress.
Golf can be an extremely social game. It’s a good excuse to get out of the house and meet up with some people who have similar interests. Most ranges have club houses where you can kick back, relax, and catch up with your pals after too! Make the most of this – you could foster some lifelong friendships along the way.
