Sometimes the idea of getting out of the house first thing in the morning to visit the gym is a nightmare, and no one wants to be trekking out in the freezing cold to run on the treadmill for an hour at 5am. Zumba might seem like something you can only do in a dance hall at your local leisure centre, but actually it is one of the easiest exercises you can do at home. It is an intense form of cardio and it will build a lot of lower body strength with squats and jumps.

The easiest way you can stay fit at home is to simply get a yoga mat out and place it on the floor in your living room, and do exercises such as squats, push ups, crunches, burpees and others. You can complete just one of these a day for success and a stronger body.

Simple weights

If you happen to have some dumbbells, tin cans or wine bottles at home, you can easily do some simple weight training at home during the evenings. You will be able to find some awesome routines online and you can simply use whatever weighted items you can find around the house to increase your upper body strength and tone your arms.
