Just like everyone out there, I have been looking for the best pillow to get a good night’s sleep. I have tried everything from the traditional pillows to the standard memory foam pillows, which I can not get used to because of the curve which may work for back sleepers but not for me who usually sleeps on my stomach. Then I kept hearing about shredded memory foam pillows with cooling bamboo covers. Hmm, interesting. As someone who always gets warm, anything that will keep cool is an added bonus.
When you first receive the pillow it will come rolled up tight (vaccuum packed) in a relatively small box. Not to worry as it inflates to a nice plush pillow. When you take it out of the plastic bag be warned it may have a slight temporary smell. This will be completely gone in 24 hours if not less. They tell you that if your pillow does not expand completely you should put it in the dryer on high for 20 minutes. I did not have to do that.I simply let it rest as I received it early enough in the day.
Keep in mind that the pillow is NOT a solid block of memory foam but rather shredded foam so understand that you will most likely have to send it in for customization to your personal preference after trying it out for a week or so.
As I mentioned above I am a side and stomach sleeper. As of right now, my wife and I are both trying out the pillow so we do not want to customize it quite yet. That being said we will most likely be getting one more pilliw so we can then have each one customized. I have seen reviews that all you need to do is call Relief Mart, Inc. and they will email you a return label— so the customization IS FREE. Understand turn around times will vary due to how close you live to California.
You will spend $50-$70 on the Snuggle-Pedic pillow depending on the size you purchase and some may argue that the price is quite steep. When you take into consideration that the company lets you try out the pillow for 90 days, and if you’re not satisfied – you can send it back for a refund, it comes with 2 FREE customizations and has a 20 year warrantee, it does not seem so bad. So if the pillow ever goes flat, you can return it for a new one.
I am sold. Obviously I can’t speak to having this pillow for years but is extremely comfortable and with a great warrantee? Sounds like a win win.
The Snuggle-Pedic is very well made with high quality materials and the exterior is extremely soft on my skin. The pillow is the best pillow I’ve ever owned to date. Have you tried the Snuggle-Pedic, what did you think? Leave us comments below.
