Give Your Life the Makeover It’s Long Deserved

makeover, guys, health, car, skin

Have you, over the past number of years, felt that you have fallen into somewhat of a rut? Have you just been going through the motions and not really doing much else than being a husband and a father? Do you ever feel as if you need to do something completely different? But a makeover doesn’t just have to mean tending to your skin, it also means tending to those things that make you the man you are. Here are a few of the areas that you should target in your life makeover.

Your body and health

Give your health the makeover that it’s been crying out for since, well, since you stopped playing sports at the age of sixteen and subsequently lost all your fitness (and the ability to run for five minutes without getting a stitch). Try waking up early and going for a run; head to your nearest gym and quickly transform yourself from just another gym goer to a gym pro-er; replace those microwave meals with meals that are fully prepared and full of nutrition; and stop skipping breakfast and pack five of your ‘five-a-day’ in with a green smoothie. If you look after your body and health now, it’ll look after you when you’re old(er).

Your car

You’ve heard the phrase ‘less is more’, right? Well, when it comes to your car, more is always more. More engine, more horsepower, more miles per hour, more memories — the more your car offers you, the more likely you are to love it. But now it’s time to give more back to it than you already do. Now it’s time to give it the makeover it deserves! Care for your car like you care for yourself by giving it all the latest, snazzy accessories including tinted windows, which can be sought at window tinting solutions. Or if you fancy yourself as more of a DIY kind of guy, then there are a number of things you can do to the interior of your car that will make it feel as fresh as they day you bought it, including using a curved upholstery needle and high-strength thread to tend to your weary looking seats and to cover any holes that may have appeared in the fabric. Make your car look and feel like it’s just been driven out of the showroom, every time it drives anywhere.

Your skin

It’s not just your wife or girlfriend that is allowed to get a makeover, you know. It’s the 21st century, and you are most certainly allowed one too! There’s no shame in wanting to look and feel your best, and if you want to, then a manly makeover may be right up your street. A number of things that you can do to your skin to make you look at least ten years younger include exfoliating it to make it as healthy as possible and using tinted moisturizers to give it tint of a tan.

And once you do all of these things, it’s time to maintain the makeover and prove to everybody that it wasn’t just a mid-life crisis you were going for, but a mid-life makeover.
