Set to relaunch this fall with a new look, updated menu, and complete juice bar, EXKi is freshly tailored to suit the palates and lifestyles of their Big Apple clientele

While staying true to their mission of offering natural, seasonal, and local fare to their customers, EXKi is relaunching its NYC location with a new look and freshly curated menu.  Centrally located at the corner of 28th Street and Madison Avenue, EXKi’s updated space is enhanced by natural light and a live plant installation to evoke a feeling of freshness that matches their garden-fresh menu offerings.  The unique and innovative updates are set to combine urban sensibility with farm fresh goodness in a space that draws on simplicity to let the honest ingredients shine.  EXKi is masterfully merging the top quality recipes and ingredients of fine dining with the convenience of a quick-casual eatery.

Having achieved success in several European markets, EXKi hopes to be a staple for healthful meals as they rebrand their New York location.  The EXKi team has taken time to get to know the tastes and needs of their New York clientele, and are responding with impressive updates to their space and menu.  With the new, inviting atmosphere that showcases their fresh ingredients and wholesome recipes, EXKi is sure to wow New York customers this time around.

The freshly remodeled interior featuring Carrara Marble and European oak accents sets the tone for a bright, inviting place to enjoy a wholesome meal.  EXKi’s new intuitive layout makes the delicious food a centerpiece as customers peruse the menu and grab-and-go options, and ample seating creates a welcoming environment for diners to sit down and refuel.  The urban garden inspired décor perfectly complements the freshness of the menu offerings, and adds to the wellness centered experience.

The everlasting dispute between health and convenience is officially resolved by EXKi’s locally grown menu options that are seamlessly offered in a grab-and-go format.  With mouthwatering selections like Coconut Chia Bowls topped with pineapple, mango and macadamia nuts, and Local Baby Kale & Avocado Salad tossed with toasted sesame seeds & miso-carrot dressing, EXKi has a dish for every meal and palate.  The Warm Bowl Bar offers tasty combinations of proteins, veggies and grains that customers can tailor to their tastes, with options like Roasted Free Bird Chicken, Roasted Organic Salmon, and Smoked Cauliflower.  The menu of savory and satisfying entrees ranges in price from seven to thirteen dollars.  The philosophy that food should make you feel as good as it tastes is at the heart of each recipe, and with fare from breakfast bowls to salads and sandwiches, every meal meets the Feeding Fresh Since 2001 standard.  Natural, seasonal and honest ingredients are always used, and EXKi has partnerships with local New York area farms to ensure only the freshest most quality ingredients hit their cutting boards.

Through the use of sustainable products and an environmentally conscious approach to business, EXKi has purposely minimized their ecological footprint, a difference they are proud to share with customers.  Partnerships with local farms is another component of quality that translates to the customer experience.  Baby lettuces from Satur Farms, tomatoes from both Eckerton Hill Farms and Latham Farms, and apples from Hudson River Fruit ensure EXKi customers are treated to the freshest, most seasonal produce available.

EXKi is more than just a restaurant, it is a lifestyle.  Taken from the French word “exquis” which means exquisite or delightful, EXKi’s goal is to give customers a healthy and exquisite experience that keeps them coming back for more.  Frederic Rouvez and Nicolas Steisel founded the company in 2001 and currently have over 85 restaurants in Belgium, France, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, and Italy.  Now, it is time for America to see what EXKi has to offer with their new and improved Madison Avenue location.  In the words of founder Nicolas Steisel, “EXKi personifies the quest for combining both simplicity and exquisite taste in many aspects”.  EXKi’s team is excited to relaunch their New York location, which is rooted in these two concepts with foundations of simplicity in the ingredients, the cooking methods, and the delivery to customers, and extraordinary taste in both aesthetics and flavor.

EXKi is made for the busy New Yorker, for the lunch breaker, for the sore footed and empty bellied tourist, and for the wholesome food loving creature in all of us!  The passion for food and health EXKi is known for is perfectly showcased in their updated space and menu.  Come October, we will all be flocking to this urban food oasis.
