Nacho Fest Serves Up 10 Different Types Of Gourmet Nachos

Nacho Enthusiasts filled the LI Pour House in Port Jefferson to taste some of Chef Joe Festinger’s gourmet nachos. Chef Festinger had 10 different nachos for festival attendees to taste as well as queso wings and unlimited craft beer samples.

Some of his nachos included …

Bacon Nachos – Crispy bacon, nacho cheese and sour cream over waffle fries. Delicioso!

Greek Nachos – Were topped with lamb gyro meat and smoothed in tzatziki sauce. Opa!

Dessert Nachos – These nachos were covered in cinnamon and sugar goodness just like a churro and then drizzled with frosting.

Boneless Nacho wings – Chef Festinger topped nachos with some of his famous boneless wings, incredible!

Cheesy as f*c# nachos – These nachos were covered in ooey gooey cheese, what’s not to like!

Brick House Brewery in Patchogue brewed up the perfect craft beer to pair with nachos, a Nacho Fest Cream Ale, a whiskey oak aged cream ale cask conditioned with honey and jalapeño’s. This beer starts off sweet but finishes with a little bit of heat from the jalapeño’s at the end. This easy to drink craft beer was also 7.2%, which made it a crowd pleaser.

The Great South Bay poured two of my favorites, Blonde Ambition and Blood Orange Pale Ale, light, crisp and paired great with nachos.

Tsingtao Brewery , China’s second largest brewery founded by German settlers poured samples of their American Adjunct Lager and handed out fun Chinese fortune cookie bottle openers, you will not be out of luck when you need to open your beer.
