We can’t be the only ones who find it difficult to buy a present for our dads when Christmas comes around. Elderly fathers, in particular, can be a nightmare to buy for. If you’ve found yourself in the same situation, then we hope we can help out. We’ve collected together a whole selection of presents that you could buy your dad. Of course, it will depend on what your fathers like but we think some of these gifts would go down a treat.
Tickets To A Great Event – If you fancy treating your dad this holiday season, you could b8uy him tickets to an event you know he would love. This might be a sports event, or it could be a music concert. Again, it will depend on your dad’s personal preferences. If you’re stuck about what event to choose who you can always see if he will drop hints about something that he might enjoy. Ask him about what type of music he likes or what his favorite sports team is. If you can buy him tickets to a great game with the main rival, it’s sure to be a wonderful Christmas present.
Great Smokes – Is your dad a smoker? If so, it’s best not to try and get him to quit around Christmas. Instead, you should celebrate the fact that you’ve got such an easy gift to buy. You just need to buy him a carton of his favorite brand. Swisher Sweets cigars will go down a treat, and the different flavors you can buy are actually quite festive. Have a look for some of the fruit flavors and they are sure to be a special gift for your father this season.
The Easy Options – If you don’t have any idea what to get your dad this year, we’ve got some easy options. You can think about buying a gift card. If you know where he likes to shop buy a gift card for that store. That way you won’t have to worry about what to buy him, and you’ll save time wrapping. It’s a little bit of a cheat but if you choose the right store, you can still show you care.
Another easy option is to buy a film that you know your dad loves. You could upgrade his DVD to a Blu Ray. Or, if he’s invested in a new Ultra HD TV, the 4K release might be on shelves. However, don’t be too surprised if he talks about how much he preferred the original copy.
A Dad Hamper – Our last suggestion is another easy option, but it also has a lot of care and attention added on. You can buy a gift hamper for your dad. These are available online and come stuffed with everything a dad could want or need. That includes socks, a bottle of fine wine and plenty of other goodies. Again, it’s a little bit of a cheat but you’re playing the odds. There’s bound to be something in the basket he’ll love.
