Built for noisy, demanding environments either on the job or off, the ToughTested Jobsite headphones are ideal for tradesmen, landscapers, construction, military, motorsports and other indoor/outdoor recreation or sporting events. JobsiteLets start with the packaging. I love to see how a company packages their product. For me it gives some insight into whether they care as much about the presentation of their product as they are about the product itself. The case is black and orange with a clear front to proudly display the Jobsite headphones It is secured with two zip ties and a large orange snap.

Now I will admit that I am not a usually a big fan of earbud style headphones and personally prefer headphones that cover my ears so this is the first look at a pair with what the company calls “FlexFoam” that I have ever tested and or reviewed and I will say after a few seconds they feel very comfortable around and in the ears. They are made of the same material as earplugs so they mold nicely into the ears.

Right away when you take them out of the packaging, you can tell where ToughTested is different than the rest. The kevlar cords are by far the most durable I have seen. I am one who is very tough on my tech and I am certain this is one tech that will stand up to everything I throw at it. The only complaint I have is that the headphone jack is set at a 90 degree angle which is a little pain for me who has a case that does not play well with that. I have an extension cord which I have used which did solve that problem.

Now on to the sound quality. This is where I was definitely pleasantly surprised as I knew it would be durable but for the price point of $69.99 would the sound quality be that good? The answer is yes.

All day comfort these buds are easily accessible and comfortable. Tested for more than 10,000 uses the extra durability is definitely where it counts. Heavy 2.5mm gauge cord and braided nylon outside for maximum strength and durability. The Certified Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) of 23 db provides protection against outside influences that may damage hearing over time and the proprietary EQ-Voice technology and Halo 360 mic, specifically designed for people who spend a lot of time in noisy environments; these features enable you to listen to High-Fidelity music and then with the flip of a switch allow you to take clearer, louder phone calls (EQ-Voice automatically boosts volume by 10db in call mode).
