Good. Now this is the second consecutive movie I’ve seen in 3D. The difference here was I saw this on a lazy boy recliner in 3D and not in IMAX 3D. There is a huge difference between the IMAX 3D and what I saw last night. Unless you are seeing the movie in 3D IMAX I would not waste your money, although the lazy boy recliners are awesome!!!
Now I was a bit skeptical of this movie coming in, but ARNOLD was there to save the day. He does an excellent job as the reconditioned terminator good guy there to save the day. I thought that Arnold was back just to sell a few extra tickets but I was very impressed as I was not expecting much out of the Govenator here. One other thing the movie has going for it was that James Cameron gave the movie a thumbs up. This movie takes elements from the original movie and finds fresh angles to explore while still respecting what was done originally. The plot is a little complicated and you have to pay attention because there is a lot going on and a bunch of moving parts, but if you do that you will be rewarded. The world we live in today is even more dependent on technology than it was in 1984 or 1991 when the first two films came out, which makes the concept here even more scary and believable. I don’t want to give away too much but I thought they did a really good job here. T2 is one of my favorite movies of all time. It could be probably be in my top 10 of all time (HUGE statement right there kids!!!), Genisys is nowhere near that movie. It’s more than just another loud special effects driven movie with battle scenes strung together. It’s a good fun movie that is worth your money to see on the big screen, and besides The Mobile Movie Man liking it, one other thing is for cretin: ARNOLD will…..BE BACK!!!
