At the beginning of Spring Training Mets fans once again have hope. A new year and the return of the Dark Knight, right? Well as Mets fans are used to, there needs to be a shot in the arm before Opening Day and that has come in the way of the news of our latest Tommy John candidates Josh Edgin and as of this morning most likely, Zack Wheeler. SNY has decided tho shed some light on this very popular surgery and its recovery process.

Premiering Thursday, March 19 at 7:00pm, Tommy John Effect: Harvey’s Road to Recovery will include rare behind-the-scenes footage of the rehab process, as well as interviews with Tommy John himself and current Mets who have gone through the surgery and recovery: Bobby Parnell, Jacob deGrom, and young prospect, Steven Matz.  The half hour-show will take viewers inside the inner workings of the surgery, as well as the challenges during the recovery process.
