Are you ready to test your “Mantelligence”? Well now you can. After months of research and hard work, Kyle Boureston and the Mantelligence team have put together a truly one of a kind men’s app. The team took the excitement of a video game, infused it with all the knowledge that men need in their daily lives, and as a result, have created an exciting and unprecedented new app for men. I was lucky enough to have the chance to test the Beta of the app and have been speaking with Kyle since he reached out to me in late August.
As guys we’re expected to know certain things. We should know that storing beer upright helps to reduce oxidation, that the penalty for a false start is 5 yards and that the piece of lumber, that’s commonly called a 2 x 4 (two by four), actually measures 1.5 inches by 3.5 inches.
As men mature, we are expected to know certain things that aren’t printed in textbooks. We should know the difference between a socket and a crescent wrench, that the penalty for a false start is 5 yards, that storing beer upright helps to reduce oxidation and that the piece of lumber, that’s commonly called a 2 x 4 (two by four), actually measures 1.5 inches by 3.5 inches. Mantelligence is a revolutionary new type of game that’s designed to teach men these bullet points of
manliness and then some.
The app has over 3,000 unique men’s general knowledge and men’s trivia questions that span topics like sports, tools, beer, cars, bbq, etc. designed specifically for men. Players can expect questions like:
• What gives beer its bitter taste?
• What’s a carburetor?
• Who was John Dillinger?
• What’s the difference between a Phillips and a flat head screwdriver?
• Which military branch are the Rangers part of?
• How many presidents have been assassinated?
The Mantelligence team has turned this concept of man-telligence into an incredibly fun and engaging game app. Opening the Mantelligence app, players are transported to a fictitious and dangerous land where their evil archnemsis, Dr. Ivan Evilsworth, has kidnapped their girlfriend and has taken her to his castle in the mountains.
Players must use their manly intelligence to fight through treacherous terrain, battle fierce bosses and bandits, earn treasure and stars, and, ultimately, rescue their girlfriend from Dr. Evilsworth’s castle.
Outside the game’s main storyline we’ve added high scores (so players can challenge their friend’s Mantelligence), 5 in-game powerups, 30 achievements and a survival mode to keep players pushing the bounds of their manly intelligence.
