Back for its ninth year in a row, the Spring Craft Beer Festival will be held on Saturday, March 21st, 2015 at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum. 50+ Brewers/100+ Beers More than 50 craft brewers from around the country will be in attendance, pouring samples of over 100 of their finest brews—the 2015 brewery lineup will surpass all years past. It will include new and award-winning breweries from Long Island as well as stellar craft breweries from across the country.
The 60,000 sq. ft. exhibit hall will once again include a beer garden with a great menu of craft beer infused faire, giveaways from beer garden sponsor, and a relaxing place for friends to meet and relax. Returning this year, the SHIPYARD BREWING COMPANY is sponsoring the Silent Disco. A surreal party experience where the music is pumped through distributed wireless headphones instead of the speakers. A crazy sight to behold, even crazier to partake in. The event will be held at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum—1255 Hempstead Turnpike in Uniondale, NY 11553. Everyone who purchases a ticket will get in. No tickets will be sold once the event sells out. We have limited the number of attendees to insure that everyone that purchases a ticket will be able to sample the beers they want and move around with ease. The pay-one-price admission includes a 5 oz. souvenir tasting glass and the freedom to enjoy 2 oz. samples from any exhibiting brewery. There will be plenty of water and food available for purchase, special demonstrations and entertaining programs. If you really love great beer, this is the festival for you. We will keep updating the list of expected beers on our site, so check back often.
Designated Driver tickets are available for $12+tax/fee. A DD ticket holder will get a bottle of water. Designated drivers do NOT receive a tasting glass and are NOT permitted to sample any beer. Any designated driver seen drinking will be removed from the festival immediately. Designated drivers must be 21+ and present valid photo ID for entry.
This is a 21+ event. All attendees must show valid photo I.D at the door. You must be 21 or older to attend this event—this includes designated drivers. No Exceptions!
The Spring Craft Beer Festival raises money and awareness for organizations such as The Beers for Brains Foundation, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and Motivational Recovery Environments (MoRE). The event is sponsored in part by www.LIBeerEvents.com, Long Island’s local beer calendar.
