Amzer Crusta: The Review

Amzer Crusta, tempered glass, iPhone, Android, cases, Amzer, Crusta, phone case, Product Review

Being a techie who always upgrading my phone and hates when they get scratched, I have had my share of phone cases through the years. Normally I am not one who likes bulkier cases especially since I usually carry my phone in my pocket. That being said when Amzer reached out to me to check out their Crusta phone case, I figured I would give it a chance.

You may not know the name but Amzer was founded back in 2003 with the vision that handheld devices were vital for communication between people, and features of the many products available failed to meet their needs. Amzer’s team created the first line of accessories to include advanced functions users were demanding and combine them with contemporary styles. With rapidly changing trends in the technology market, Amzer follows that same basic principle, and is constantly introducing new products. Over the years, Amzer has rapidly grown as a leader in handheld device cases and accessories throughout the world and continues to design innovative products aimed to enhance the life and features of smartphones and tablets.

When I first put the Amzer Crusta on my iPhone 6 I knew it not like some of the flimsy cases I have had in the past. It it has 4 layers of rugged construction which includes a tempered glass back which I have to say was one of my favorite features since, lets face it smartphones are not only functional but somewhat of a fashion piece so why not want to show it off . It also features its Amzer Kristal Tempered Glass Screen Protector with 3D beveled edges with for maximum touch sensitivity and Optically Clear adhesive for HD Clarity. That combined with its hard shell core protective layer and an outer layer made of a highly impact resistant TPR (Thermoplastic Rubber) materials with Nano Air Cushion Technology for superior 6 Feet drop protection this case can definitely take a beating.

The case is surprisingly lightweight and offers full coverage, including earphone and charger dust ports, without impeding button use. In addition, you receive a holster which spins 360 degrees, though I did not use the holster. The tempered glass has an 8H rating on the Mohs scale of mineral hardness. The screen protector is also smudge free which was very nice to see.

The Crusta for iPhone 6 overall was a pleasant surprise and the case provides very good protection and coverage and including a tempered glass screen protector is a nice touch. We think the look might rub some the wrong way, but many others may find it appealing. The price is definitely right at $45.

This looks like a great product. Iphones are pricey and need protection.
