The biggest names in international brewing will gather indoors on the concourse at the Belmont Park Racetrack (2150 Hempstead Tpke. Elmont, NY 11003) for the seventh annual International Great Beer Expo November 8th. This international beer tasting extravaganza will showcase more than 50 breweries from across the globe, each providing samples of their country’s proudest brewing achievement.
Shoulder to shoulder with some of America’s best breweries, including local Long Island favorites, will be amazing breweries from Japan, Germany, France, Belgium, Italy, Ireland, Mexico, Austria, Nicaragua, Thailand, Poland, New Zealand, Indonesia, Sweden, China, and others.

Session I: 12:30pm – 4:00pm (doors open at 12:00pm, first pour at 12:30pm)
Price: Online: $45 +tax/fee
Event Day (if available): $60
Designated Driver: $12 +tax/fee
Session II: 5:30pm – 9:00pm (doors open at 5:00pm, first pour at 5:30pm)

The pay-one-price admission includes a 5 oz. souvenir tasting glass and the freedom to enjoy 2 oz. samples from any exhibiting brewery. Tickets are $45+ tax/fee each when purchased online in advance of the event. If tickets still remain, they will be $60 on event day at the door (cash only).
Everyone who purchases a ticket will get in. No tickets will be sold once the event sells out. We have limited the number of attendees to insure that everyone that purchases a ticket will be able to sample the beers they want and move around with ease.
There will be plenty of water and food available for purchase, special demonstrations and entertaining programs. If you really love great beer, this is the festival for you.We will keep updating the list of expected beers on our site, so check back often.
All attendees must show valid photo I.D at the door to be admitted. You must be 21 or older to attend this event. No Exceptions! No children, toddlers, infants, strollers, or pets are permitted.
Proper identification is the responsibility of the attendee. Failure to present proper, valid photo identification (driver’s license or passport) will result in denial of entry with no refund offered.

Looks like a fun event! How cool to try beers from around the world in one spot, and so much cheaper than buying them individually to see which tastes you prefer – my hubby would love this to figure out what tastes he’d like to try craft brewing at home! And, what a great idea to have a DD option… Enjoy!!!

If I drove I’d be in there like swimwear, can we carpool? I did a Sake Tasting Monday, Wines from Spain on Wednesday, this sounds like the way I should wrap it all up! LOL
