God Awful. I like Johnny Depp but this movie is really unwatchable. There is a scene where they highjack a train and I was praying it was the LIRR I was on so I didn’t have to watch any more of this garbage. I’m also not sure why the name of the movie is called the Lone Ranger to begin with because the movie is all about Johnny Depp and Tonto.
Again the Hollywood liberals are forcing their message here about how all business men are corrupt killers, and America was built with only bad white people. Enough is enough already. It was as if they tried to combine A Night at the Museum, Blazing Saddles, and The Temple Of Doom and sprinkle in a little Mel Brooks humor and tried to cover all the bases, none of which worked. On a side note I understand Disney was using Johnny Depp’s star power to attract an audience but Native Americans everywhere should be in an uproar over Depp’s attempt at playing an Indian. There are no other Native Americans in Hollywood….those of you that follow me know this is one of my pet peeves. If you want to see Captain Jack Sparrow go to the wild west, then this might be for you, but the movie is a complete waste of time of a very talented cast of actors. Disney might have been better off making a cartoon out of this movie instead, and speaking of Disney….instead of old Walt rolling over in his grave, I think he died again when this was released. Hopefully none of the people responsible for putting this together will ever be allowed to make another movie!
