The Latest On The iPhone 6, When?

iPhone 6 is coming

The iPhone 6 is one of the most anticipated smartphones of the year (and the iPhone 6 release date an extremely hot topic), just as the iPhone 5S has been last year, the iPhone 5 back in 2012 and so on. With such a hyped device, rumors and leaks are inevitable and they keep on flowing, despite the fact that the iPhone 5S is still a pretty fresh device. Perhaps the amount of early reports concerning the iPhone 6 is giving some gadget enthusiast high hopes that it will be launched earlier than usual, but we tend to view things a bit differently (and we are not alone).

According to German site claims, Apple is allegedly restricting retail employees from taking vacation in September 2014. Despite recent rumors it looks likely that the highly anticipated iPhone 6 will follow Apple’s usual pattern of launching a new iOS followed immediately by a new generation of iPhone*.

Inside sources of 9to5Mac suggest that, starting with May 8, Apple will start contacting upgrade-eligible iPhone owners who own older models via email, with an invitation to pay the local Apple Store a visit in order to pick up a new iPhone 5S or 5C at a lower price. Evidently, Apple MAY be preparing a pretty attractive trade-in program, for customers who own an iPhone 5 or older. Personally I am waiting for the iPhone 6.

The 4.7-inch iPhone 6 will be followed by a 5.5-inch device. The larger model of iPhone 6, which is allegedly coming out a little later than the smaller one, is suffering setbacks due to difficulties in battery issues and screen technology.

The iOS 8, which is expected to take full advantage of iPhone’s larger screen, is also rumored for an iWatch integration.
The first iOS update following the radical design revamp of iOS 7 is rumored for multitasking upgrade and improvements in iCloud and Maps app.

The much talked-about Healthbook app, one of the key features of iOS 8, is paving a way for Apple to reach the $3 trillion health market. With a design much like that of Passbook, the app will offer users total health management, tracking data from heart rate to oxygen saturation. Healthbook is considered to be taking up a major role of iWatch integration.
