Battle Balm: The Review

Batlle BalmOver the years, and as some friends would say “due to your old age” I have felt more aches and pains (usually in my lower back, knees and calves). Normally I would usually pop two Advil or Tylenol. The more I thought of it, I realized there must be a better way without popping pills all the time. Recently through social media, I heard about Battle Balm and figured why not give it a try.

In doing a little research about the company, they compare themselves to Tiger Balm which has been around for a LONG time with one major difference – No burning sensation while using – which is due to as the company states “Made with 100% organic and natural ingredients. No artificial colors, fragrances, or fillers. No synthetic dyes.

Petroleum, paraben, phthalate free.  Propylene glycol (PG) and polyethylene glycol (PEG) free.”

I can not say I have used any external ointment products for my joint and back pain. After last weekend when I had done more driving than I am used to in a 2 day span (taking the family to Great Wolf Lodge) my right calf was experiencing pains especially when I was going down stairs. I decided to use Battle Balm to see if it would help. I was pleasantly surprised with how fast and well it started to work on my aches and pains. With just a small amount, I started to feel a nice warming sensation on my calf (nothing with excessive burning that I have heard you might get from some other products on the market). I assume this is attributed to the 100% organic and natural ingredients. In just a short period of time I was definitely able to feel the difference in my calf muscle. I am very happy with the product.

I will gladly continue to use this product in the coming weeks/months. I may even try it for other ailments as mentioned in 20 Uses For Battle Balm®…and Still Counting. The only thing I might see people complain about is the somewhat strong menthol smell of the product but if it works, and it did for me, I can see past the menthol smell.

Pricing of The Battle Balm® Full Size (2 oz.) – Original Strength and Extra Strength sells for $19.95 with their Demon Strength selling for $21.95. Smaller sample sizes (.05 oz.) are also available on their website.

Disclosure: I received a sample of the Battle Balm® Extra Strength from Battle Balm® in exchange for my honest review. The opinions expressed in my review are my own. No other compensation was given.
